Irish lads from the hurling clubs of Michael Cusacks & Éire Óg face off at San Francisco’s Irish Cultural Center on Saturday, June 1st at 5 p.m.
For the unitiated, Hurling is an outdoor team game of ancient Gaelic origin dating back 4,000 years (coinciding with the blood sport of boxing.)
Money earned at the gate will help the hurling teams compete at the world games in Ireland this summer.
