Ferry Building Hosts Chinatown “Pop Ups” This Weekend

In celebration of Lunar New Year, the Ferry Building is partnering with some of Chinatown’s most beloved small businesses for a pop-up through February 13.

The Ferry Building was inspired to showcase small businesses from Chinatown to remind visitors of the richness of San Francisco’s neighborhood shops and how important it is to support them.

Following the overwhelmingly successful pop-up in March 2021, this year will welcome even more featured businesses to the Ferry Building on Saturday and Sunday  with booths set up at the south end of the marketplace (across from Far West Fungi).

Two shop gates inside the Marketplace will be decked out with décor provided by Chinatown shops specializing in handmade decorations and lanterns.

A portion of proceeds from sales will go toward San Francisco Community Business Resources, a nonprofit organization providing business resources, information, and collaboration to various small businesses and other nonprofits throughout the city.
