The Port of Redwood City’s newsletter, “Currents,” notes that many ferry riders may not realize that this gateway is just 25 miles from entrance of San Francisco Bay.
The monthly on-line publication also contains news on “Waterfront Recreation,” and the ongoing community outreach efforts to establish scheduled ferry service to the port.
Along with the City of Redwood City and Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) the port is collaborating to provide commuter and recreation transportation to San Francsico or Oakland without having passengers “worry about traffic delays or finding and paying for parking.”
