Art hounds and cuisine cultists visiting The City may wish to make this their next destination.
San Francisco’s STUDIO Gallery (located between Polk and Van Ness on Pacific Avenue) opened 2003 to showcase the work of Bay Area artists.
The gallery shows artwork in a variety of media, primarily painting.
They hang a new show about once a month, alternating between solo shows and themed group shows on subjects like Bay Area cityscapes and landscapes, or work inspired by food and drink.
“Delicious” is their current small works show.
They always have a selection of pieces with a local slant, and many of our artists do custom work and accept commissions.
Among those currently exhibiting, is Cultural Currents website designer, Susanne Friedrich, owner and creator of Red Princess Productions.
